Ian Courtney has acted in a wide variety of roles over his career. As an economic regulator of the telecommunications industry he worked on assignments on behalf of clients including the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Commission. He acted as the Director of Communications for the award winning internet telephony pioneer Ubiquity Software Corporation prior to co-founding and occupying the role of CEO at a communications agency. Immediately before taking on his position with the Foundation he was the regional director of a bank. At the Foundation he is responsible for its communications and external relations.
